Since this is the beta version of the online codecracker, there is a few things you should know before playing.

The rules of the codecracker can be found under General Information.

Here are a few bugs with the online codecracker at the moment which you should be aware of:

Type numbers into the Letter grid (the grid on the right) as oppose to typing letters in the codecracker grid. It would be great if the numbers and letters could both inter-change between grids, but unfortunately they don't at the moment..

So in short, DO NOT type letters or numbers in the codecracker grid, or else you will need to just refresh the page.

Try using backspace key (if trying to replace a number with a another number) rather than the delete key as there seems to be a few issues with this.

The codecracker on here is quite difficult as there isn't any starting words, but have fun cracking it :)

Once you have completed/or partially completed the grid hit the "Check all" button. This will give you a score on the bottom right hand corner, which is calculated with the number of words solved and the time taken into account. If you have done well you might even make the high scores table!. If that is the case, then another text box will appear asking you to enter your name. You can then check where you have position on the high scores table by clicking on "High Scores" located on the top right hand corner of the codecracker grid.
