Codecracker - General Information
Codecrackers can be described as the "numeric" crossword. A common codecracker is contained in a 13x13 crossword grid. There is also a alphabet table consisted which contains 26 cells each numbered 1 to 26. In each cell you must fill in a unique letter, which corresponds with the crossword.
Here is an example of how one may look like:
All codecrackers must have a starting point, hence at least one letter must be filled in the alphabet table. The letter or letter(s) which is your starting point must also help the user find a unique word in the crossword and continue filling the letters in the table and carry on completing the crossword.
What consists of a good Codecracker?
- Should be unique and not contain more than one solution per crossword.
- Use all the 26 letters in the crossword.
- Not too use too obscure words. (For example: endocrinology!)
- Not a good idea to use foreign words or words beginning with a capital.
